VISIT OUR HERO PHOTO WALL

Have you nominated your Hero??

We receive many photos from friends and family who are nominating their loved one for Hero of the Day. Active duty military, wounded warriors, fallen heroes, and veterans are all eligible for this honor. We want to honor and thank these Heroes by sharing their photo with as many people as possible.

Over the past years, the photos have been displayed in our office for everyone to see. However, during certain periods, the office doesn’t have much traffic so we needed a way to share the Heroes with more people. Our facebook page has been a great way to share the photos. However, believe it or not, there are a few people that don’t have facebook. So, to share our Heroes with even more people, we now have our digital Hero Wall on our website!

Please take a few minutes to browse the photos at www.military-missions.org/hero-wall-photos. All of these Heroes have sacrificed so much to fight for and protect our freedoms. Military Missions is honored to be able to share them with you.

Hero of the Day – Allan

Meet Allan, Military Missions Hero of the Day!!

Allan’s wife submitted him for Hero of the Day and I want to share her letter with you since she described him better than anyone else could.

“Stationed overseas, miles away from home Allan still is able to be a Daddy. Our 11th grader was having issues with her Math and is currently not making great grades. Allan, our hero, stayed up until 0430 his time helping her work on her Math. Two days later our daughter was having a minor surgery done. She had only had one surgery done without him there. She is 19 yrs old but wanted her Daddy. He stayed on Skype with her the whole time from walking into the office until she was safe in the truck with me. These are just two small reasons he is our Hero.

Allan has remained behind in Kuwait while his Company moved to their final location. His Company of soldiers are not soldiers to him, they are his kids. He helps them with marriage issues, money management and all aspects of life.

Allan tries his best to serve his country to his fullest while still being a father. This is just a few simple things that he does as an awesome Father, Soldier, Husband and Hero.”

Please take a minute to visit our facebook page and join us in saying “Thank you, Allan!! We appreciate everything you are doing and all the sacrifices you have made.”

Meet Today’s Hero!

Meet today’s hero, Moroshea, a member of the US Navy, who is currently serving on his third deployment in the past four years.  It goes without saying that Moroshea is making a huge sacrifice to serve our nation. All you have to do is take one look at his adorable kids to know how difficult it must be for him to be away from his family.

We are so grateful for Moroshea’s service to our nation, and we are thankful for his wife and children who serve here on the homefront.  Please keep this dear family and their brave sailor in your thoughts and prayers.
