PACT PTSD

Parent Advocates for those living with Combat Trauma – PTSD

PACT-PTSD is a blog site which focuses specifically on the issues that involved parents of children with combat PTSD. We have found that many of the websites currently available are focused more on the needs of the veteran or the spouse of the one suffering with PTSD. With many troops being unmarried, they need to rely on a parent or another civilian advocate. As parents (and/or civilian advocates) we do not have the same rights to health care information and it is far more difficult to advocate for our injured child. We hope to build a network of support through information and one another. We hope that you will visit our page often, read our blog, and comment to let us know how you feel or what you are experiencing. We welcome guest bloggers. If you have a story to tell, please consider sharing it here. We can help one another only if we share our stories.
